During the Michael Jackson Memorial, Magic was standing next to a 6'4" Kobe Bryant and didn't look more than an inch taller than him. I thought he was 6'9"?

Kobe Bryant is 6'5" or 6'4 3/4"

You people are obcessed with height. If Magic is 6'8 1/2, it has no relevancy to his career, other than claimed height measure. Wethere he is truly 6'7 or 6'8 or 6'9, IT CHANGES NOTHING other than your opinion.
