Have we been spoiled with PGs like Derrick Rose, John Wall, OJ Mayo, and Brandon Jennings in terms of athletism.

Brandon Knight and Austin Rivers are both above average athletes similar to a Stephen Curry maybe a tad better, what is the deal here how come we aren't seeing freaks as our top rated PGs for the next 2 years
Well I'm glad someone said something outrageous, it wouldn't be the internet without hyperbolic assumptions.
None of the top guards in the nation are un-athletic. Guys who are seniors and juniors have so much weight lifting and basketball ahead of them, they're nowhere near the finished product that OJ Mayo basically is. Even in comparison, you cited 4 guys, 3 of whom I would say are guaranteed all-stars, and that's not fair to those still in high school.
yea, but those are the kind of kids that are getting exposure. Im a sophomore in H.S and I know quite a few athletic people around my grade. Just that people rather work on their crossover and neglect doing core work, squats, etc.

exactly i am talking about the top ranked recruits. I know there are going to be athletes in every position. I am talking about the very best one. They aren't that athletic especially if you compare them to past top PGs in the last 3 years or so.
Oj Mayo isnt a freak athlete. Read his scouting reports, they say he has average quickness and didnt blow by people even at the college level. He can jump tho, shoot lights out and his offensive game is crazy. He's been doing NBA type moves since even his senior year in HS.

Mayo is faster than people think. Look at his combine numbers. He was right with Derrick Rose in pretty much all the athletic drills. Even recorded a higher vertical jump then him.
