Default Ben Wallace returning to Pistons

The Detroit News reports that Ben Wallace is going to sign with the Pistons. Just a one-year deal

Awesome. I know he's not the same he used to be - likely not even in the same area code - but it'll be nice to give him a farewell run here. I hope everyone gives him a warm welcome.

The only question now is what number he will wear.

glad to see him back, though I dont expect too much. Most reasonable cleveland fans acknowledge he was a contributor in limited mins on that team. Wouldnt mind seeing him anchor the middle for 15-20 a night if he can still go. Is that nasty compound leg fracture of his completely healed?

So....

Should Stuckey give up the #3 for him?

Only seems right...

The Pistons are spending about 4 - 4.5 million per year on Wilcox and Wallace, when the could have given that same amount on Zaza Pachulia, who is better.

The Pistons could have offered 5 years to Pachulia (he got 4 from the Hawks) and they probably would have had him. He would have been a better pickup than CV.

Hmmm. I guess He'll be there starting Center? Good Idea for a team thats seems like it'll be lacking in the defensive department.

I doubt they wanted to commit 5 years to a 6/5 player.

It will definitly be nice to see Big Ben back in a Pistons uni. I wonder what he'll be able to contribute? Either way, it'll be nice to see it.
