I got them ... and my, oh my ... incredible. If any of you plan on picking up a pair of top of the line basketball shoes, I highly reccomend. Most comfortable and best pair of LeBrons (IMO) since the 2's. I'm a guard and this is the first pair since the 2's light enough for me to play in and be effective. They are so comfy, so sleek, just awesome.
Yeah I could've got those but I passed, and went with the "Red Carpets" ... I like the upper woven material better than the flywire. Gave it a classier more durable look, IMO
yep. Disappointed with the china editions. The main colorway (black/red/white) and the navy series look way more comfortable. 1 of the main comfort issues is the leather material by the ankles. The china editions have leather and it's actually been brusing my right ankle, idk why just the way it fits. I have to wear a wrist band around my ankle for it to feel comfy.
Picked up a pair the other day and damn.. my ankle slides up and down and feels weird in general in these shoes.
Never had any problem like this with other nikes, little disappointing considering I love the way they look.
which ones did you get? maybe it's the ankle padding that gives you discomfort? some of the lebron 7s use leather on the little ankle pillows (my china editions, they were very uncomfortable around the ankle til i broke them in). The bred colorway uses a nylon padding (much softer) and I'm guessing it's a lot more comfortable. Not sure if we had the same discomfort though
I do actually feel a difference in which shoes I ball and my last pair of LeBron's (IV) felt very heavy. Currently balling in the Zoom Kobe V and the weight on that is amazing. I like the look on these though so was wondering about maybe getting a pair. Was wondering how it was with these?
