- Jeremy Maclin could miss "a week, maybe 2" with a foot injury. Sounds a lot better than InspiredLebowski's prognosis. Meanwhile Kevin Curtis said he could have played last night vs. the Giants and is back from injury. Brian Westbrook will reportedly be available vs. the 49ers but will be held out for another week, and play vs. the Broncos.
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin tore the plantar fascia in his left foot in the second quarter and could miss next week's game against San Francisco.
"That's a week or 2 injury," coach Andy Reid said. "We'll see how he does here as we go, but he'll be fine."
- DeMarcus Ware was released from the hospital with what was called a "neck sprain". ESPN has reported that he will be OUT vs. the Saints on Saturday though IDK if that's been confirmed yet.
edit: expected to miss 2 weeks
- Lions RB Kevin Smith has a "likely torn ACL" and will undergo an MRI today. It's believed that he may require reconstructive surgery. Not what you want to hear for a young running back.
- Bruce Gradkowski is likely done for the season with a partially torn MCL. He did say that he would try to come back, meaning he probably won't require surgery, but it would be for no reason.
