I enjoyed Luke Cage 2 a lot, the villain was really good.

Cotton Mouth was tight. Mahershala Ali kills everything he's in.

Killgrave is one of the best villains I've ever seen though.

The first season of Daredevil was the best of that group but Killgrave made the first season of JJ up there for me.

David Tennant is a wizard and the story behind the character is gold.

some seasons were poorly written but the good seasons triumph any of the writing from avengers movies. by far.

it took avengers several movies to finally have a good villain (Thanos). all the previous villains were hot garbage.

I can't remember any villains in any non DD, Punisher shows except for the guy that plays Doctor Who in Jessica's season 1.. he started off menacing but lost its shine since the season should have been 2/3rds in length. Also you don't need to show the villain at all times to be effective, as the Joker for example showed.

and it's funny you mention the joker. sure, but the whole movie was carried by the joker. it's like saying an nba player doesn't need the ball to be effective and then comparing curry off the ball (he's amazing at it) to josh jackson off the ball (horrible)>

I'm giving an example that you don't need to show a villain at all times like they did in season 1. He was interesting because of how little we knew of him, I was shook at the end of episode 1. Then they kept showing and showing him.. and the allure was gone.

cotton mouth was good

Cottonmouth was great, that's why the season fell off after he was gone. Bushmaster was great tho, he had a great backstory and I ended up rooting for him because of it. Great villians make you see their side of things as right and that's exactly what he did, he also had some really nice fight scenes with Luke.

I never understood why they killed cotton mouth so early, I gave up on Luke cage after that..

DD season 2 and 3 were fantastic, as was punisher season 1. 2 was still good but the story was a bit average..
