Shooting Guard at 6'11? Is this fair? Well that's what Dirk plays too right? Durant is the black version of Dirk Nowitzki. But I have question marks about his 3pt shooting, what was his % in college ball?

Durant isn't completely like Nowitzki. And I'm pretty sure he's 6"9.
Durant is listed at 6'11" (though he is probably 6'9", most NBA players are listed 2" taller than what they really are), theres no way he should be at SG. They would be better off putting him at SF where he belongs and where he would probably spend the rest of his NBA carrer...Sonics are better off putting Wally Szczerbiak at SG and leaving Durant at SF
Makes sence. Durant has the makings to be like a Tmac player. He's got the speed, athleticism and shooting to be a very effective 2. And I'd recommend him to be a SG for the rest of his career. He would create a lot of matchup problems. If the Sonics draft Roy Hibbert next summer, the Sonics would have a really big, young line-up
C - Roy Hibbert (7'2)
F - Chris Wilcox (6'10")
F - Jeff Green (6'9")
G - Kevin Durant (6'9")
G - Delonte West (6'4")
Not only that line-up is big, but asside from Hibbert, that line-up is super athletic.
And whoever said that Durant is a tweener and it's a catastrophic mistake to make him a SG obviously doesn't understand the skill and athleticism Durant has. Durant has Kobe/Tmac-like athleticism and has a jumpshot that will be rashard lewis-like. Even if Durant packs some muscle in the next 2-3 years, Durant would still make a really nice SG

Szczerbiak is a good player but he comes off ass selfish and it didn't seem like he helped any of the young guys in Boston (I watched a lot of Celtics game)...The Sonics aren't going to be good this year no matter what so they might as well start Green and Durant together because I don't think Szcerbiak will help either (though I could be wrong).
Durant was 6"9 and change without shoes and 6"10 and a quarter with shoes, that was from the combine. Maybe he grew a tiny bit, he is only 18 afterall.
