Default Jason Kidd a nugget

New york Post says:

but neither team nor the Lakers can offer more than the Nuggets - an almost-rehabbed Nene or Marcus Camby vs. Kenyon Martin."

Lets discuss this trade

I think it meant Martin or Camby, and Nene.

I'd do it if they could get another big man somewhere else around the league.

ANOTHER guard? Christ how many do we need? No way this trade goes through and I doubt it's even being considered.

The Denver Post doesn't have a single mention of it, total rumor.

Iverson and Kidd in the same backcourt. Makes you wonder.

PG-Kidd
SG-Iverson
SF-Melo
PF-Nene
C-Camby

If this trade were to go thru I think K-Mart would be the odd man out.

That would be pretty amazing but no way they take K-Mart straight up for Kidd, we would have to give somebody else up aswell... They would probably want Camby or Nene to go with, maybe JR or somebody to.

But we really don't need another point guard, we have Atkins, Carter and Iverson can play point when we need him too. There's no way this trade happens.

Agreed.

As great as an AI and Kidd backcourt would be with Melo at the 3, where's the low post presence? Losing Camby AND Nene would be suicide. Where would the rebounding and shot blocking come from? I know Nene is hurt but we can't afford to lose him altogether.

Camby is pretty much the only defensive enforcer we have and he's only at his best at weak side help. We lose him and replace him with a guard the defense will just fall apart completely.

Horrible trade.

I would go for it.It will make all star line up..

we have iverson, melo as two superstars..
but we have three superstars nene, camby and martin which we can only play two..
lets trade one of them for superstar pg.

No way i will do that trade if it involves Camby. Hes the backbone of the Nuggets' defense( defensive player of the year )!!! Without him, the Nuggets will just be a mediocre team, and we will SUCK let me emphasize that SUCK so much on defense because we dont have a quality big man...

is anyone agreeing with me? and its because we have Camby inside that players dont dare drive inside to score( or their chances of going in are lesser )

look at his stats:

3.4 blocks per game ( 1st in NBA )

14.3 rebounds per game ( 2nd in NBA )

I know the Nuggets need a good point guard( we dont have a good point guard YET ), but chucky atkins and anthony carter can fill the void temporary, but we CANT afford to lose Camby...

I agree we cant lose camby..
But nene or k-mart..we can afford to lose.one of them i say..

anthony or atkins are good players..but not superstar...kidd is 2nd best pg in the league for years after nash...

pg kidd
sg iverson
sf melo
pf one of k-mart/nene
c camby

would a nene or kmart + atkins or anthony or jr.smith deal work..i would do it

nene or kmart + atkins or anthony+ jr smith would seem to work. though i will be extremely reluctant to give up jr smith

The Nuggets are in no position to take on another huge contract financially, so acquiring Kidd is impossible unless Iverson or Martin was involved. The Nets are unlikely to take either one, and an Iverson trade is not likely from our side. Kidd will not be a Nugget this year.

i checked the trade machine & by trading Kmart, Chucky & Najera we could get Kidd. I would be a little upset to see Kmart go but i want to keep Nene & Camby so he would be the best choice to go & Atkins & Najera i'm ok with leaving. I would love this trade but i guess it would only work if both teams agreed. What do you think?

And that's why you would a terrible GM. Probably the dumbest thing I've ever read in the Nuggets forum.
