Default Who should start for team USA, and why?

Which of these players should start?

Carmelo Anthony, Gilbert Arenas, Shane Battier, Chris Bosh, Bruce Bowen, Elton Brand, Kirk Hinrich, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, Antawn Jamison, Joe Johnson, Brad Miller, Chris Paul, Amaré Stoudemire, and Dwyane Wade.

C.Paul - 06 ROY! No other player on team USA lead his NBA in assist as did CP3. He's quite efficient at running the offense. Good rebounder and gets lot of steals in the lane. He'll use his quickness to get to the rim, and pass it off if he gets doubled.

J.Johnson - When he played for the Suns, he was the teams best perimeter defender and 3 point accuracy. In ATL, he's running the show. He's unselfish, and better shooter than Wade. In the international games, zone defenses are designed to stop players like D-Wade, Lebron, & Melo from driving to the basket. You need 3-point specialist like J.J. and B.B. to stretch the defense. JJ can also penetrate to the hoop. If it was man-to-man defense, our players would beat any team. But international games, are based on how well a TEAM!! performs offensively and defensively. There can be no ego's here.

B.Bowen - Team USA has enough stars to out-score any team. But not everyone plays lock-down defense, like Bowen. He gets under your skin. He's quick. He'll beat you by playing position defense. He'll draw a lot of charging fouls. Just like Johnson, he's a threat from downtown, and rebounds well. The best one-on-one defender and help defender should be a starter over Lebron. He travels too much, and shoots too many 3's. I'd rather see BB or JJ attempt as many 3's. But they're not like that. They'll shoot only if their open, or have space. Melo's defense is still soft and not great 3-point threat, but it has gotten better.

D.Howard - He's a rebounding machine. Good post moves. Blocks well. I'd consider starting Miller over D.W. because he's got range on his jumper. Plus B.Miller is a great passer from the high post. He's also very unselfish.

E.Brand - He might be 6'8, but he has a 7'2 wingspan. He's probably the best shot-blocker on team USA. He's the best post option on the team. If BB & JJ can make the 3's consistently, he'll be a monster in the post.

If you noticed, the class of 03 has 5 players that could be starters. Kirk, D-Wade, Melo, James, Bosh. It makes you wonder, why not?? Why not start them all? It would be a lot of run-&-gun. And a lot of fun.
