Default Re: Rank these small forwards please

1. Marion: Proven player. Great 3rd option. Fits in with the suns perfectly.
2. Howard: Chucks too much. Fairly skilled. Ideally a 3rd option
3. Deng: I'm just pissed that he can't stay healthy. Killing my fantasy team.
4. Jefferson: Haven't watched enough of RJ
5. Kirilenko: Good at the things he does but can't stay healthy but he's good at what he does
6. Jackson: Overrated because he fits so well for his system, not that that is a bad thing.

Joewait, are you in med school?

1. Shawn Marion
2. Josh Howard

Those to me are the easy top 2. Howard is a better scoring option but I'd prefer Marion's defense and rebounding. Plus it's not like Marion is inept on offense.

3. Luol Deng
4. Richard Jefferson

These could be switched but I'd just prefer to have Deng on my team.

5. Andrei Kirilenko
6. Stephen Jackson

Marion and Howard are close.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear. You wanted to hear that Marion was 10 times better and that Allen Iverson is the devil with Lebron as his right hand man killing kittens.

I'm mostly just kidding. It just seems like a weird group of small forwards and I know you don't think that highly of Dirk's supporting cast.

i think dirks supporting cast is good but very overrated compared to guys like kobe, lebron, etc.

i figured all those guys i listed are roughly at the same level

Kobe's cast is decent with a healthy Bynum but Lebron's IMO is trash.

Dirk's supporting cast >> Lebron's

lebrons bigs are so much better than dirk's. and boobie gibson is roughly on par with harris. harris wouldn't be *****t if he wasnt on dallas.

Well I personally I'm growing tired of Marion's dwindling offensive skills and his lack of intensity so I might actually take Josh Howard over him, but I won't because Marion is still superior on defense and rebounding when he's actually trying.

1) Marion - ultimate athletic garbage man. Defense, rebounds, blocks, steals, versatility.
2) Howard - nice 2nd man. Decent on defense and rebounding. Sometimes takes too many shots.
3) Jefferson - nice 2nd man but inconsistent. Defense is falling off and his rebound rate isn't what it should be.
4) Deng - falling fast from my prospect list. He is still money from mid range but his confidence looks shot and he doesn't look like he'll improve too much.
5) Jackson - nice leader. Super streaky but he will win you games. Sometimes he's useless on the court. He plays decent defense and when motivated plays above his talent level.
6) AK-47 - man-to-man defense is overrated. Plays well below his skill level. When he's on he does EVERYTHING well.

omarnyc has an OK reputation so far
Default Re: Rank these small forwards please

howard...nice all around game, best shooter in this group
marion...multi talented, great rebounder
jackson...streaky but when he gets hot he can be unstopable
jefferson...one dimensional, if he's not running the break he's not really effective
deng...shows alot of potential
AK...great shot blocker, doesnt do anything else to impress me

1) Marion - Can't think of a better SF for Phoenix, a superb athlete
2) Howard - Good shooter, good defender, can finish around the basket
3) Jefferson - A deadly shooter and a versatile athlete, but defense is a problem
4) Deng - Good mid-range shot, lingering injuries are an issue though
5) Jackson - He has a killer crossover, headcase though
6) Kirilenko - A very capable support player
