So I guess the current Celtics squad will be contenders as long as KG stays on top of his game
Well like you say Ray is the most replaceable. Rondo and Perk are only going to get better. If Rondo can develop a consistent jumpshot he has the chance to be one of the top ten point guards in the league in the near future. He has a nice form, but he's just not confident in his shot. Perk can give you 10 and 10 a night, but he stays into foul trouble too often. He has too learn to stop biting on pumpfakes. I don't see Garnett or Paul declining for another 2-3 years so I think we can be contenders for that length. We need to start drafting players this year to build around for the future. I'm hoping Jamont Gordon or Chris Douglas Roberts are around for us to pick up at #30.
