Yeah I heard they want Mayo. I'm not sold on Mayo being a starting point guard. I think they would regret passing up Beasley, but I do hope Minny can get Beasley. Beasley + Big Al is nasty.

i dont like minny with both big al and beasley. i dont want big al to play center. but i dont like them with foye/mccants/telfair/mayo either. i think minny needs to trade that pick

if the wolves took beasley, they would need him to change his game and play the 3, then go through stretches of small ball with beasley at the 4 and al at the 5

it's not a good fit, but it's also hard to take and trade the player who I believe is almost a lock for RoY. Especially when they already did that with foye/roy, and get constant abuse for it.

I think the most realistic scenario is miami taking beasley and trading him for veteran help, then minnesota taking mayo at 3 and trading mccants.

Telfair is a FA and I doubt they resign him. They definitely should try to trade McCants and Jaric and draft either Mayo or Beasley. Whom ever falls to them. Mayo probably would be a better fit, but I like the ideal of Beasley paired with Big Al. With Big Al in the paint, you really don't need another front court scorer. What you need is a shot blocker. Diop is a Free Agent. They should try to sign him and with a starting 5 of Foye/Mayo/Gomes or Brewer/Jefferson/Diop they could have a nice starting 5 for years to come.

It's a no-brainer, Michael Beasley aka the single most talented player in the draft.

O.J. Mayo is a friggin off-guard and would make zero sense.

Too bad for you Riley doesn't like Beasley and Wade loves Mayo.

You do the math.

I'm sticking with my theory that OJ Mayo should be the #1 pick in this years draft. His game is more suited for the pro style, and I think he'll be the most productive player of them all.

lol hahaha... man he'll b a great scorer no doubt, but thats where it stops

beasley will be a scorer and a rebounder and rose will be somewhat of a scorer, mainly getting assists, while still pickin up a few bounds here and there
