link? any quote?

Anyway, Donte Greene is more of a SF... He doesn't seems too fond of battling downlow, maybe in the mold of a poor man's Antawn Jamison... not sure he feels a need for Philadelphia assuming he is being given consideration at #16

I like a lot Pat Calathes. Were the Sixers looking for a SF or if they had a pick in the 2nd round, I'd be liking the idea of picking him. Maybe they are expecting him to go undrafted and then sign him?

Sixers bring in St. Joe's Calathes, Ferguson for predraft workout

LOS ANGELES - The 76ers, always careful to include local prospects in their NBA predraft workouts, have included Saint Joseph's University's Pat Calathes and Rob Ferguson in this morning's scheduled session.
Calathes and Ferguson will join with Syracuse's Donte Greene, North Carolina State's J.J. Hickson and Nikita Shabalkin.

The 6-10 Calathes averaged 9.9 points in his 4-year career, climbing to 17.5 as a senior. Ferguson, 6-8, averaged 11.9 points last season.

Greene, who played only his freshman year, averaged 17.7 points and 7.2 rebounds for Syracuse last season, where his 620 points as a freshman were second only to Carmelo Anthony, now with the Denver Nuggets.

Hickson, 6-9, averaged 14.8 points and 8.5 rebounds as a freshman last season while leading the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 59.1 floor shooting percentage.

Shabalkin, 21, is a 6-9 lefthanded power forward who has spent 4 seasons in the Russian Super A League. *

Most likely looking for guys for summer league/training camp. Rob Ferguson has no chance of getting drafted anyhow.
