Yeah, you and I were discussing it, I believe I gave you the idea tbh. Glad it worked out. There was a clear point where the odds and general perception hadnt caught up to the way theyd been playing if you were following the Mavs.
I actually tried to place a bet online myself, which Id never done before, but not surprisingly Texas doesnt allow...

He's definitely a choker. Just to think both Booker and Tatum were 1st All NBA 2 years ago. Probably the worst 1st team All NBA in history. Bookers gone and Tatum probably will never crack another one with SGA and Ant on the rise. Tatum and Book just don't have that dawg in them no matter how talented they might be.

The only reason she got so popular is because a bunch 10-year old white girls or teeny-boppers started liking her.. this has to do with her skin color, as there have been many great college players before her that never got that kind of publicity.
it's a fact that she has 3 moves that include a pretty good right-hand drive and then the counter...

Every team already runs 5-out offense or some version
As long as a team develops great chemistry over the years, they will have decent variations and wrinkles to their 5-man out foundation and I think the Celtics have that, while their 1st option certainly has the skillset (on-ball or off-ball) to allow this variation.

When the Celtics win this championship. Everyone will copy how they play "5 out offense". Originality will be dead since this is the most simplistic offense in basketball. When everyone sees just how easy it is to run. They will never switch back to anything else. Its a role players paradise. They can thrive in this type of no skill offense...It...

Defenders don't seem to try to BLOCK luka's layups and paint shots - defenders just stand flat-footed with both hands up and looking in the air like "wow" or "what is that" - I'm not sure what they're looking at or thinking, but Luka barely jumps over a phone book and these guys never try to block his shot like gifs below - notice how 3 guys...

His whining to the refs does get tiresome. There was one game recently when he didn't gripe at all to the officials, but that didn't last.

Lot riding on mah boy Luka, but I'm done with that whole black/white agenda, so who cares.
Really though, Luka can be pretty insufferable if he doesn't play hard. If you play hard, you can complain, but if you don't play hard, you're just a whiner.

Yeah something happened because his defense changed pretty drastically.
You were pretty extreme with the trolling though. You made rmwg look like a Luka fanboy.

Luka needed some tough love, that's all. Kidd or whoever got through. It's like Moses telling Barkley that he was fat and lazy.
Don't know who got through, maybe just having better players helps, but clearly he's changed his attitude on defense a lot.

What I've seen through the years is that he doesn't have an elite handle, similar to Lebron, so the longer he takes to make a move, the less effective it's going to be.

People forget when Iggy came to the Warriors he was cast away player averaging like 7ppg with them. Same with Tyson Chandler, Shawn Marion, and Jason Kidd on Dallas.
PJ, DJJ, and Gafford are arguably Dallas top 3 defenders and they were relative nobodies to start this year. It's much easier to replace defense than top tier superstar offense.

Luka and Dirk are both so much better on offense that they'll offset particularly Tatum's defense, which isn't that great. Dirk beat KG plenty of times.
A more interesting one is Luka/KG and Tatum/Dirk, in that case, would Luka be able to co-exist with KG who liked to take his time operating in the high post, just like Porzingis.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game is done in 5 for Mavs with some luck, but more realistically, 6 games.
I hope the NBA leans into Luka and doesn't try to force Tatum. Even Stephen A. Smith is on Team Luka. Allen Iverson is on Team Luka.
Someone, maybe Barkley, said that we're not there yet, but almost where some black kid is wearing a...

It's a little early to ask the question because we don't know if Tatum will dominate these Finals at a high level and then win again with the great team chemistry that he's developed over many years.. If Tatum proves to have this caliber of offensive dominance as he enters his peak years, then I would take Tatum plus a very rich man's Pippen in...

Not anymore no. He definitely was bad, but not anymore.
He is actually a good defender now, particularly in the high post/low post area.
If someone think they can take him on 1-on-1, he'll very often poke the ball away or move right in front of their drive, just from anticipation.
He's vulnerable outside the 3 point line, but that's not...

He might, but most of their best defenders are typically already on the floor in clutch time. I hadn't really paid attention to their late game substitutions.
Whether they do or not doesn't change the fact that you were wrong saying their defense is better when he isn't playing. You just made it up and then doubled down on stupid which is...
