Interesting topic. However, there is an aspect of skill involved in functional strength as well. You can fundamentally increase your strength by how you use your body, learning how, etc, but there is also weight room / functional strength just like a raw / natural gift. I wonder if Clyde was stronger. I don't have much evidence. Look at these...

It's crazy how KD & Kawhi aren't even choices for the top 5 of this, I doubt anyone would have believed that back in 2019.

that's the funniest thing about his presidency. he had a super-majority for two (maybe even four?) years and got f*ck all done. after all of that campaigning for hope & change all he did was try to reach across the aisle in good faith.

Sure we do, but when you debate a players dpoy candidacy alot of us look at stuff like Defensive Win Shares, Defensive Rating, Block%, Steal%. All affected by steals or blocks stats. Also some people's go to catch all stats PER and Winshares? Steals and Blocks. It could be really bad.

nah i didn't mean it in that vein. like him or not and how well you think he did as president, he could capture a crowd, give energetic speeches and get the democratic base excited. most importantly young voters.
just look at the contrast between him and joe or even him and hillary. who in the democratic party could you consider a 'shining...

Nope... Even if you don't believe in logic and only believe in Haberstroh's lies, we have the offensive side of BPM - offensive box plus/minus (OBPM).
MJ is #1 in OBPM (8.80), while Jokic is 2nd (8.18) and Lebron is 3rd (7.50)... So MJ is still goat by a mile, even if you're a victim of the fraud and believe he isn't nearly as good as he was.

Actually most advanced metrics we've used to debate players care about steals. So indirectly, yeah we all care about steals.

What's really going to bake your noodle is when you realize how many advanced metrics use blocks and steals, and that the extent of this number fudging could delegitimize his advanced stats we've used in so many debates......

Someone has to be #1 because MANY guys had massive inflation like 90' Hakeem, 86' Robertson and 88' MJ but these cases of massive inflation were one-offs - they occur today too like AD having 55% higher steals in 2022.. Who knows why the one-offs happen because it could be personal stuff that affects home/road performance for that particular...

Well, besides Jokic of course. It's hilarious seeing the Kobe stans try to claim that Lebron's Lakers tenure has been a "disappointment", yet he has done as good as anybody during his tenure. Keep in mind, we are talking about old Lebron here. Lebron has been out of his prime since the Solomon Hill injury in 2021.Let's see a breakdown of the...

Well, yes. And that's the reality the others have been saying about him. He isn't as relevant as he was before anymore because injuries have ruined what could have been a better career for him, at least in terms of being great and prominent for a longer period in the league. Instead, as time passes by people would only see that his longevity...

The dead ball numbers are Haberstroh's numbers and aren't documented anywhere else in history except Haberstroh's account of the footage, which he got from a guy in Latvia so no one can verify.. So the fraud is very real.. That's why I said that Haberstroh made sure that no one can verify the live-ball numbers, but this goes for the dead-ball...

Accolades are heuristics for ignorant people. Hes not been an allstar because he was injured and while he was injured the level of talent increased along with the game changing to three point gunning. Which is what the allstar game turned to.

I don’t think so
He wasn’t a major player in any civil rights movement. He didn’t grow the NBA to an international stage. He’s been a scab in a weak era of NBA superstars, people can see through the fake hype. He’s not a charismatic character, he doesn’t have the “it” factor. Lebron is quite boring when it comes down to it.
Lebron will...
