The country that was founded on the African slave trade and the genocide of Native Americans has racism embodied in its soul.

Im... not sure what your argument is. Al Horford hasn't even played or shot bad so far in the playoffs.
But beating up on 3 teams in a row without their best players every time doesn't garner respect.

So Celtics played Al Horford a player that couldn’t cut it as a backup center on the 76ers 5 years prior. Right.

Why does everyone sweep under the rug that we weren’t playing with our star center and starting 40 year old Al Horford?

It's a different kind of racism here. Other countries discriminate due to political strife and hundreds of years of conflict.
Here in the US we fabricate things that imply racism but deny it. At least foreign countries are honest about their racism

I think he can be, just perhaps not in the role hes accustomed to as a 1a or 1b.
He’s not an elite player but he’s not a locker room cvnt or a net negative on the court. On a value contract as a role player you wouldnt take PG at all? Thats nonsense.
Obviously hes gonna get a max and probably expect to be a featured guy, which Im not...

Miami's big-three system was just a four/five-out drive and kick. GSW's offense was a hybrid triangle offense heavy with off-screens, split cuts, and pinch-post/passing from the post. Neither are outdated at all.

I can see Philly doing it out of desperation.
The alternatives for them are all pretty ugly.. like resigning Tobias, or bringing in DeMar DeRozan. Or remaing cap-locked, resign everyone and then hard capping themselves with sign and trade(s).

It's fine to hype your guy, but if you notice, only the fans from Boston really think Tatum is as good as the numbers show. The overwhelming majority of everyone else doesnt. Not just Boston haters, but neutral fans as well. The consensus from all different kinds of fans outside Boston is he's not an elite first option. Whereas fans from outside...

I think it was great for the time it was implemented, the game evolved and then it wasn't. Same with Miami's system they ran with the big 3 or Goldenstate's lightyears offense. Everything has its time, even players lol.

i just mean it wont go up that much more than the 8% increases in siakam's contracts every year. It's going be like a 28% cap hit even in year 5 compared to 30% the 1st yr. like you said they'll roll excess into the future. There will be no cap spike like there was in 2016.

Yeah it’s rough. While it is an overpay, when looking at the other factors I would personally say it isn’t the worst.
There was some buzz over GS getting siakam a little while ago and I was a bit skeptical because they would have had to give up assets for him and then eventually pay him probably too much money. while he is a great player i’m...

Embiid is one of the best defensive bigs in the entire league. Jokic is at best, average. They're not in the same universe.

It’s going up $46 million over three years and guarantee to increase from there because they have to roll the excess into the future to satisfy the new CBA. It isnt theory. The cap is factually going to go up a lot.

It's so aggravating that he made the same mistakes at the end of both games 3 & 4. But he was very good throughout the playoffs.
Pacers are set up for a major run next year. Had Mathurin not been out (and of course Hali the last 2 games), who knows how this series would have played out.
