Robert Deniro literally went in front of the cameras today outside the courthouse where Trump is and said it. Turn on the TV, Max.

I think it was great for the time it was implemented, the game evolved and then it wasn't. Same with Miami's system they ran with the big 3 or Goldenstate's lightyears offense. Everything has its time, even players lol.

i just mean it wont go up that much more than the 8% increases in siakam's contracts every year. It's going be like a 28% cap hit even in year 5 compared to 30% the 1st yr. like you said they'll roll excess into the future. There will be no cap spike like there was in 2016.

Yeah it’s rough. While it is an overpay, when looking at the other factors I would personally say it isn’t the worst.
There was some buzz over GS getting siakam a little while ago and I was a bit skeptical because they would have had to give up assets for him and then eventually pay him probably too much money. while he is a great player i’m...

Embiid is one of the best defensive bigs in the entire league. Jokic is at best, average. They're not in the same universe.

It’s going up $46 million over three years and guarantee to increase from there because they have to roll the excess into the future to satisfy the new CBA. It isnt theory. The cap is factually going to go up a lot.

It's so aggravating that he made the same mistakes at the end of both games 3 & 4. But he was very good throughout the playoffs.
Pacers are set up for a major run next year. Had Mathurin not been out (and of course Hali the last 2 games), who knows how this series would have played out.

I wouldn't pay him $5 to play on my team. He's just not a winning player.

cap wont go up that much. Guys who make that right now are ad, luka, trae, lavine, fvv, edwards, haliburton, sabonis. Little more than ben simmons and kyrie, some guys are underpaid on the 30% max because it's their first contract like ad and luka but some are definitely overpaid like lavine fvv, Siakam is better than the last 2 but he's...

It's the going rate. If the Pacers were average maybe don't do it but they made the Conference finals and were competitive so their potential is worth exploring. Worst case scenario a contender that needs a forward would trade for him.

eh, he’s a good fit for indy, as a big man he runs the floor as good as anyone….indy is already pot invested since they gave up a decent amount to trade for him. I don’t think tons of free agents are rushing over to Indy too so they are kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place
it’s not great but not terrible i would say. the back end of...

Kobe and MJ made the Triangle what it was, not the other way around.

In the JB thread it seemed a few people had a hard time grasping that a player could be offended and move on because they aren't being offered top dollar even though no one else can offer more. This illustrates that.

So other teams getting injured is unfair but Tatum rolling his ankle doesn't matter and aparently the Celtics adding two new star starters is unimportant. Got it.
