….. his ball first, but no make it take it….1s and 2s at a local high school….. you do not have to clear rebounds and go out to the line but he does. What percent chance do you give him of coming back to win if a superMax contract is on the line for him and nothing is on the line for you but pride?
You just have to score 10 before he scores...

Celtics won't solve Luka ball.
Celtics are a 3 point chucking team, but instead of Curry and Klay, they have Brown and Tatum, both have not been shooting well this postseason. They also don't move like Warriors at all, but just drive and kick.
You also seem to think Tatum is a catch and shoot player, while he is more like a slow and prodding...

Yes, they do. Let's see how Damian's stay in Miwaukee pans out, maybe next year they are really happy for the trade they made, but right now, I think they are not satisfied with that move.

Not yet, but he has the potential to be, yes even beat out MJ.
MJ was phenomenal sure, but do I say he is better in every way offensively than Bird? No, of course not. Bird could shoot 3s, could pass at a GOAT level.
Luka is only 25 and if people think he'll be resting on his ring (if he gets one), then they must have missed he was a Finals...

The thing is that pitching isn’t really the issue for me right now. Overall it’s been..fine. After two awful starts at the beginning Fried has been incredible. Throw out those first 2 (which of course you can’t do) he might be the best pitcher in the league since.
But our bread and butter is the fact we can mash. And we have t been mashing....

It has nothing to do with being the greatest or the most accomplished player. OP did not say that. He just said Doncic might be the best offensive player he's ever seen in the POs. It's understandable why someone could have that opinion when you look at Luka's consistency in the POs and how skilled he is offensively.

What you say here happens to be true, but again not for the reason you say. Almost everyone in NBA history mostly loses. That includes ball-dominators, and it also includes expert jump shooters. Jordan played 15 seasons. He mostly lost.
There are only a handful of people who have played in the NBA and mostly won. They all played with...

The Fat Guy is definitely a talent. Best offensive player ever? I don't know. It's hard to go past MJ! He could do everything Luka can - and more!

Jordan has multiple playoffs over 34ppg and 6 Finals MVP awards. I don't know why you people are buying into this crap but it's not the first time you've posted foolishness. Whatever.

Yes, one play by a guard out-maneuvering a center for a shot should negate the totality of a player's contributions. I see where the OP is going with this.....

Yea not to mention Duncan beat KG in the playoffs in '99. '99 was actually a historic run. The Spurs went 15-2 against their opponents. The only better performance up until that time might have been the '83 Sixers, and that was a manufactured team due to Moses joining them.

Definitely not. He's been hurt to start this post season and as a result he's looked kinda OK compared to his usual post season self. Even though his 2024 regular season was much better than his past regular seasons. It's better to make this position specific and ask if he's been offensively better than Magic or Steph.

Yea, I was about to say this. Robinson led the team in scoring in 1998, so maybe he meant Duncan's rookie year? And like you mentioned, 3/4 of the games, Robinson had more FGA. So it's possible Sheed is just thinking of the first year. But anyone who watched '99 onward knew who the ball was going to.

Unclear about the answer to the question but it's obvious Holiday makes the Celtics better. The Celts have enough offensive firepower in Tatum, Brown, and White. They don't need Jrue on that end but he still delivers- having big nights like 10-16 recently when they need him and shooting 40% from 3 in the playoffs.
But obv. his big...

The real regret is firing Budenholzer, who was our defensive mastermind (at least in the regular season). It could’ve worked out for the better if we replaced him with, say, Nick Nurse, but the odds were generally against landing a better HC otherwise (as proven with Griffin and Doc).
Sure, losing Jrue didn’t help, but HCs tend to be bigger...

Kenny is doing this thing where he pauses a long time before he says something to give it more weight. But then he just delivers the same mundane take he would anyhow. The first few years of Inside the NBA were the best; too bad it got widespread acclamation after those years.

He won the 2016 Finals as the big 1 without any all-stars that year. Plus the idea of calling Love part of a big 3 in that Finals in laughable.
Who were the big 3 in the 2015 Finals besides Iggy, Curry, Klay and Draymond?

0-1 with Big 1

3-4 with Big 3
He's been to 7 straight Finals with Big 3 but never been to 2 straight Finals with a Big 2. When he forms his next Big 3, he'll win 3 straight Finals and surpass Jordan with 7 championships.

On 33fga per game. Not hard to lead your team in scoring when you're taking 90% of the FGA while your sidekick leads in rebounds, assists, blocks and steals.
