The flaw in your thinking is he will not be the first option regardless of where he goes. His numbers and impact can only go down. He and MPJ will be the same once Markkanen goes elsewhere.

We need to sign Chris Paul to a 1 year deal.
Although I don't think Flagg as a PG is a horrible idea.

I'm just fascinated by Lebron23. Think about it, there are probably teachers at that high school who are 25 years old or younger, which means Lebron23 has been playing for their school since before they were even born. Their parents probably went to high school with Lebron23, and now they're teaching him in the same school. Some of these high...

3 level scorer is scoring from 3, mid range and at the rim. Mpj is getting a lot more uncontested shots im sure. Id ignore last year with lauri when the jazz were having him do things out of his wheel house. Another way to ensure losing. Lauri better rebounder. Gets to the line more. Been a 1st option not 3rd option spot shooter

Too early to make that call, IMO. He was 90th percentile in PnR Ball Handler possessions on high volume for the #1 offense in college. More assists than Cade (4.2 vs 3.5) with half as many turnovers. Comparable AST% and apg to Ben Simmons with way fewer turnovers. He could end up a Luka/LeBron playmaker and I wouldn't be surprised because the...

"I think the one thing we have to do is get away from the defensive nature of trying to convince people, players and teams that there's no connection between the loads and the injuries," Presti said. "We're kind of bordering on a level of -- it's almost insulting, you know? It doesn't mean it's anyone's fault. It doesn't mean we don't want our...

MPJ shoots a much higher 2P FG% and 3PT%. Markkanen is also not a 3-level scorer. He barely gets to the FT line. 3.9 FTAs per game for the number one option os underwhelming.

Okafor bpa if it was 1990. Like mcw and fultz they didnt have modern games. Noel fit todays game more than them. Turning down all that cash though!

MCW was a bust? He won ROY and for Sixers a lottery pick via trade. Which was Mikel Bridges. But for some odd reason we traded Bridges.
Noel was a stiff
Okafor was BPA. Hindsight yeah he ended up a bust. At the time? It was the BPA. Not mad at it. Just mad he got hurt where Sixers couldn’t take advantage of his value and flip him.

He drafted Fultz and gave it up to Danny Ainge. He traded Jerami Grant and Noel. He had his wife created twitter accounts bashing players and front office folks (Hinkie was one). He was a stooge. Embiid even with all his injuries has done more for the Sixers than him. F*ck him, should’ve left Hinkie alone to continue his process. Whether it worked...

You forgot fultz. That was certainly a difference there. You need a mix of vets and kids. Easier to lose with kids but no one to show them the way

Noel, Okafor, and MCW were busts and not given any proper development program. That was another knock on him. Draft and/or acquire players and if they aren't an immediate hit, trade them off. Why avoid having any veterans who can actually teach and mentor these guys? :confusedshrug:
He operated like someone who was a gambler rather than a...

I disagree I think Lauri would command interest. He’s a very good floor spacer. I don’t know about him defensively but I know scoring/shooting that’s the going rate for someone having his skills. I see value with him.

Of course but where was this logic when Sixers did it? Everyone was up in arms, getting on their soap box talking integrity of the league blah blah blah. The nba forced Hinkie out by having the Colangelos take over. And they ruined things. Go figure.

Markkanen is severely overpaid. That's gotta be a tough sell without taking back bad contracts in return. If Miami is desperate enough maybe Wiggins (1 more year) + Rozier (expiring) straight up?
