Person who deflects the ball that leads to a turnover has always been credited with the steal.

And he's behind Kyle Filipowski from Duke who seems to be the more athletic 7 footer in this class. Might be the steal of the draft

I don't understand this at all, I've always thought that the player who ended up with the ball got the steal. Not fair? Maybe, but those were the rules I understood growing up. Getting a hand on a pass is a deflection, not a steal.

^^^ Alvin Robertson and MJ

All players experience higher stocks at home, but MJ was the only DPOY on the list with high blocks AND steals, so his bounce was higher than the other 1-dimensional DPOY's on the list... See the chart above that shows Alvin Robertson with equal bounce in...

Do recall bruh!
1996 Title
was "touch and go" for Bulls despite 3-0 lead. Much to do with Pippen, now 31 YO, serious offensive decline. as he produced a legendary pathetic 16 PPG finals output. All those games besides 1 were "low scoring"
Out of 6 games, 5 could've gone either way. Take MJs steller ROAD game 3, 36 pts out. All 5 games...

They would have done better than a 3 peat? The Bulls literally produced the best possible outcome in those three years. I just want to know how you can do better than 3 titles in 3 years. Is it possible to win 4 in 3 years?

This is what Luka got: Ricky Rubio with a dash of Manu Ginobili
I bet this draft class will surprise a lot of people.
As I see it, there seems to have been a shift in moving away from pure athleticism and towards skill and proven ability. And why not, almost all highly touted athletes have failed in recent...

I didn't say Rodman deserved it, I merely pointed out the fact that a 7ppg player garnered multiple FMVP votes that series.

Kemp conversation much ado about nothing.
He still hung up at that 14 pts finals game.
No 7 ppg player can ever be credited over 27+ppg player in 7 games series. Especially where ROAD wins are crucial.
May br in a sudden death NCAA final.
7-20-2 worth more than 28-4-2

if anyone can find the thread where they announce the nba shutting down for covid in 2020, OP panics at the thought of facing his mortality and admitted to LeBron being superior to MJ. of course, our cheap ass admin probably deleted the thread bc he's too cheap to pay for server space but i feel like it should be archived in google.

.
So MJ still GOAT by far.. carry on
* GOAT winning in the modern era by virtue of the most rings and highest chip-frequency (6/15 = 40%)
* GOAT scoring by virtue of scoring the most with the best brand of ball, aka multiple instances of scoring title and championsihp (unprecedented)
* GOAT winning and GOAT scoring = GOAT

Nobody respects you, that's the difference. There's an entire article detailing the findings from a veteran journalist. I understand reading comprehension, numbers, and more importantly common sense aren't amongst your strengths so maybe leave it to the people who can process such things.

You know it's a weak draft when the "pro comparison" for the top selection in the mock drafts is Harrison Barnes.
