Porzingis was good for us last year, probably his career year up to that point.

Porzingis was never as good as he was this season for Mavs or Knicks. He just seems to have improved after Mavs.
He could always hit the midrange, but he forced it a lot, which led to teammates less willing to pass to him, coaches less willing to run plays and in turn, Zingis shooting even more rushed because of wanting his shots.
As you're...

If the point of the Olympic team was to promote the women's game then this would be an awful decision. But if the point is to win gold (and it is) then they just need to put together the best team possible. I don't know much about the women's game but if the 17ppg in 37% is accurate and as bad for a female player as it sounds for a male player...

What does this have to do with skin color? Do whites not root for black basketball players? Has there never been a good white women's basketball player?
Spoiler alert: people that boil every thing down to race are deeply insecure about the color of their own skin. Self loathing. Self hatred. I am sorry.

I mean she's scoring 17 ppg on 37 FG% with 6 turnovers per game. Her team is 2nd from bottom.
What do you expect?

She's the biggest thing to happen to women's basketball since ever. I don't care about women's basketball at all because they are ass compared to the men and it is an inferior product much in the same way I do not care about men's college ball. I do actually watch Caitlin Clark highlights and would watch her in playoff games, which I never would...

Luka will figure it out.
His defense and conditioning is almost there. He's a legit defender now too. Post game is elite but not used enough.
What I'd like him to work on is catch and shoot. That's the easiest way to get a breather, go stand in the corner, hit a 3 pointer on a kickout.
It would change things a lot, but can his ego deal...

What you saw last game was the ultimate example of how and why the way the Celtics use Porzingis is great. Mazzulla or if it was an assistant whichever assistant came to with this method deserves a lot of credit. They aren't just saying, "he's a big that can average over 20 points, let's post him. " Unlike any team that had him before the...

If NBA were to do a random drug test, I think they should go look at Horford first.
The way he's staying in shape at his age is ... not normal. He's almost moving better than Lebron.

The title business may prove to difficult and a bit unfair. I believe that any superstar that doesn't win a championship over the next few years is going to fall victim to the Wembanyama era, just like the generation of stars that could not get a ring due to Jordan. Whenever Pop decides to stop tanking and they unleash Wemby for 36+ mpg with a...

Horford akways been one of the more switchable bigs and Luka doesn’t beat oeople with speed lol. You switch and lively isn’t open. Switching was never an option for minn but tbf not only goberts fault. You can’t switch conley or kat onto Luka. If Boston faced denver their ability to switch doesn’t matter, you cant switch anyone on to jokic and...

That's literally Kyrie's role, he just didn't like the looks he was getting, part of which was Luka struggling to pass out of the doubles or being stressed by Brown.
PJ can actually drive the basket with some success though. Hope he is aggressive and tries to do that.

^^Lmao, only 3ball? Don't be a bit damn clueless. :oldlol:
Remember, we also used to have the super retarded jizzrag bt rh with the very same flawed logic. Kept whining that kong's teammates constitutes a superteam whenever they do so well without him. Yet when the results are vice versa, he supposedly makes them 'dead weight' even if they have...

Zingis is just not going to hit every game like that.
He's great, but he's not prime Dirk.
I've seen Zingis go hot and cold for a decade.
The real issue with Zingis has always been if he is cold, does his quick shot selection demoralize the team? He tries to shoot his way out of slumps, like ill adviced early shot clock clanks, and a...

Your point is just wrong. Kyrie was aquired midseason last year and only played 20 games for Dallas. They didn't have time to develop chemistry.
Different story this year. They were 40-19 with Kyrie this season, 11-13 without him.

Yep. Shaping things from both ends to put oneself in a win win situation narratively is a classic ISH tactic though. The only big thing is that 3ball is the only one who still does it really. Most who deployed that tactic before were younger and have grown up and either moved on or stopped doing it.

Yeah if it's happening it's probably been pre-cleared with LeBron.
I think of Rick Pitino and Leonard Hamilton who were top college coaches and it didn't translate in the NBA. Pitino lost the locker room, couldn't get along with veterans, he only connected with and cultivated young players. The only college coach that did I guess...

The alternative is to let Doncic shoot a layup on virtually every posession since no one on the Wolves could keep him from getting to the hoop.

This is 1000% correct :lol
LeBron's teammates play well: He has an unfair talent advantage
LeBron's teammates play poorly: They're being diminished by Bron ball
Jordan's teammates play well: His brand of ball helps teammates excel
Jordan's teammates play poorly: He was carrying bums
