People new to football will be watching it and seeing the World Cup's "best player" diving all over the place. What kind of example is that? He played amazing against Spain, I'll give him that, but after all that, he just had a few good and then a few quiet games.

dont remember any player that was out in the 1/4 winning the golden ball.. no matter how good he was.. and james wasnt really at his best against brazil either.. muller didnt really do much in the knockout stage either.. no show in the final.. if you wanna pick a german, you look at hummels or neuer

I won't say the Muller that shouldn't have gotten it... but I have no problem with Messi getting it.
