Re: My GF is getting too fat
sexy 140 you say? hmmmmmm... i guess 140 could be veluptuous, if you like meat. or she is 5'10
you're just gonna have to man up and let her know. 7 years is a long time to not take it any further. have you farted around her before without giggling and saying oops or sorry?
-
Re: My GF is getting too fat
Just from experience in life 168 sounds big for a girl. Not obese - but not at all skinny. But if she lifts weights heavy she might be an anomaly.

Re: My GF is getting too fat
i am 192 5'11'' man. I was 160 when I didn't lift weights.
I suppose given my height I find certain heights small compared to other normal sized people :lol

Re: My GF is getting too fat
It's normal to be starving 2 hour after breakfast bro. Instead of eating candy just eat fruit like grapes or an apple. You are supposed to eat 3 meals a day with 3 snacks a day. It keep your metabolism running and helps you lose weight. Of course what you eat in those meals is what makes you either lose or gain weight of course.
No candy, no fast food, no pork and eat a lot of fiber. Eating some protein as a snack (like yogurt) helps losing weight.
Plenty of
fish
Chicken
tuna
fruit
certainly helped me alot...that and going gym 4-5 times a week.

Re: My GF is getting too fat
Stopped reading after "dating for 7 years"
God damn the poor girl, you got her stressing she might go 10 years without a proposal from you! No wonder she gained weight for every year after 3 years of you dating her.
Depression = Gain of weight
You best propose to her soon, before she hits 250-300 pounds.
My tip for you, is to straight up call her fat. I did it to my ex she got SO mad and went on a diet, a bad one too. Starving herself, not eating, etc. She got REAL thin, like banging thin. We ended up breaking up because I cheated, but she looks banging now because of ME. Now the next guy is hitting that. Jeez. Do it the right way bro.
Take her out to White castle, sit down and have this very serious and emotional talk.
Jokes aside.
Lets be real men about it, be human being. If you truly love this girl, you anticipate loving her for the remainder of your life, as you have for the past several years, you don't just talk about her like this. For one, if she seen this, that you're low enough to not reach out to a friend to the least, but to a forums full of random people on how their opinion matters to change her appearance or not, she wouldn't be satisfied and would be devastated.
You need to talk to her, without sending the message that she needs to approve appearance wise. The best advice I can give to you, is try engaging into activities that will help both her, and yourself. Go join the gym, pretend it's for yourself and you want to do it with her rather than for her. It'll encourage yourself to also improve, I'm sure you're not as perfect as she sees you and as you see her to be. It goes both ways.
Engaging in physical activities like joining the gym, playing sports, running / jogging, equals spending quality time with her. It'll improve your bond, friendship, and also train you to accept her more for who she is.
The bottom line is, don't change someone you love because your attracted to them any less than what you first seen them out to be in the beginning. People change. I'm not sure of your age, but even you yourself will be dropping and expectations of her to you will also be in mind, but I'm sure she wouldn't point that out, she loves you for who you are.
Don't ruin your relationship / future marriage because of how the person who's accepted you for 7 years and possibly a life time, because of your own selfish desires. If you're interested in her health, then let it be for health. Not because you want to walk down the street with a smoking hot girlfriend / wife, turning heads.
I rather go back to my ex girlfriend who had an AMAZING personality, than have any girlfriend with a banging body because she pleases me in bed, but never be able to please my heart.
Good luck.

Re: My GF is getting too fat
1. How f*cking full of yourself are you? You won't make her your girlfriend until she reaches an arbitrary weight? Like you're some great incentive to do something for...
2. 10 year age gap, and exerting this kind of control over a young, most likely inexperienced girl.
3. And you're on board with her changing from med school to working in a pharmacy?
Way to screw up this bitch's life. I'd rather have a chubby doctor with a need to prove something than an in shape chick filling pill bottles and getting railed by an old guy with an inflated ego.
1. Sorry man didn't mean to get you angry but I don't think I'm full of myself at all. She wanted this very bad and all I'm doing was help her achieve this. At this point we pretty much are gf and bf with out the title and facebook status updates. She trusts me and I trust her and we are committed to each other, it's just we aren't "Official".. I believe gf and bf are just labels and titles anyways.. no big deal to me and she knows this. But it is a big deal to her. Anyways we've been working out great and we are both happy and that's all that matters isn't it?
2. Yeah ten year gap but she is very mature for her age altho she does have her 22 yr old moments but I just look at it as cute. FYI she is turning 23 next month so technically it's 9 years if that helps.
3. Well I want what ever she wants for herself. Her parents are both rn's, so she is very familiar with the dr's/hospital lifestyles. Med school, residency's, and tuition costs will have her starting her career between approx. the ages of 32-34 in serious debt. which also means she will have to work and go to school for the next 10 yrs to support herself during that time. As opposed to pharmacy school in which she works at currently CVS, she's already a lead tech. She'll finish pharmacy school when she's 24-26 with CVS potentially giving her a full ride scholarship or at bare minimum school grants if she signs a contract to work for them after she graduates. After she told me all this, I was like yeah stay with pharmacy. I don't think I messed this girls life.. I sincerely believe I'm making it better, easier, and less stressful. I feel like we compliment each other great.
OP, I just read your last message. And from what I read, it's going to be extremely difficult to nearly impossible. First, she has to want to get rid of the weight first and foremost. IF she doesn't have the will and desire to lose it, it will never happen and you should except this and her since you love her. A smoker will not quit smoking unless he absolutely wants to quit. Same thing with her. In order to fix a problem you need to recognize it first. She has to know she's over weight. And it seems your scared to break the news or don't know how to tactfully say it with out hurting her feelings. But like i mention earlier you have to be blunt and honest. Sit her down and be like we both need to live a healthier life style, and make up a story about some guy at work who had a heart attack and he was only 29, found out he has serious diabetes and he wasn't even fat. Scare the crap out of her, see if that works.
Also one thing I didn't mention that was also vital to her weight loss was we both eased up on the alcohol. I'm not that much of a drinker to begin with and she completely quit even tho she worked at a nightclub doing cocktail waitressing. So yeah ease up on the drinking, that's HUGE for weight loss FYI.

You've been with her for 7 years and you still don't know how to communicate with her? Just shoot that bitch and get another one.

Re: My GF is getting too fat
Start a new diet.
Eat as much as you want.
Just within a 4 hour window.
Start with protein based meal and veggies.
THe rest is whatever hse craves.
Easy winner.

I'm not adverse to a medium sized chick. My personal woman is 5'4 120 and fairly skinny but does not work out at all. You're bangin fat chick if you think 170 below 6'2 is acceptable.

to me there's nothing worse than really skinny girls. Not that attractive at all...girls at 160-165 look plenty good...god knows why you are acting like that means they are fat. Which they aren't close to...Obviously aren't close to being skinny but certainly not big. There is a middle ground of course.
Just like really fit girls aren't super skinny.

It's obvious you have no clue. A girl who's not a collegiate or professional athlete at 160-165 is big. In fact that is really big. No way around it. Women are short, have no muscle, and high fat percentage. There is of course middle ground but it's about 30 lbs below what you think it is. Maybe your lady is pulling the wool over yer eyes, or you're just trying to convince yourself otherwise, but you are clueless.
Yeah they are, small and skinny men who rarely lift many weights.
No, an average height man with a low body fat % can carry a lot of muscle and weigh between 160-180. About 170 is hardly skinny unless you're over 6' or have thick bones and a frame that naturally carries a good amount of weight.
168 is pretty damn big for a girl 5'8". Couldn't say if she's fat or not without seeing her, but it's well above what most girls would weigh at that height. An example of girl who isn't fat and probably weighs about that would be Serena Williams, and she's unusually big. I'm about that height, and maxed out at almost 150, and when I was that weigh, I didn't look like some frail, skinny guy. I was cut and looked/was pretty strong.

Yea, a girl who's in the 160 or 170 range is fairly big for girl standards, unless she's unusually tall, say over 5'11". There's no way she's not even a little bit chubby, unless she's actually a pro athlete.

Re: My GF is getting too fat
Jesus, did somebody actually try and say a 170 chick is skinny? That is a BIG girl. She's either fat/chubby or extremely muscular.
Skinny bitches for the win for me personally. I don't mind a girl with a little meat on her bones but I def prefer petite girls. Perhaps because I'm a skinny dude myself, but find it a myth that they have no "curves". Yeah generally don't have much of an ass but a skinny girl with a C cup looks pretty fit. Guess we all have different definitions of a skinny chick, but if you're GF was 140 pounds 7 years ago still seems like a decent sized girl. After 7 years you're relationship should be more about looks, atleast one would think. 200 pounds is massive, so I'd talk to her and tell her it's unhealthy or whatever and get her back down to 140-150 which seems pretty realistic.

Actually she was the one who threw herself at me. When I found out she was 22 I was shocked. But instead of looking at her like a 22 yr old who has low self esteem. I saw a beautiful girl with immense potential, who I can guide into the women of my dreams.. that just happens to be 22 now. I'm sorry if you think I'm some loser who has to resort to picking up chicks 10 years younger than me. But in all honesty bro.. 22 girls > 32 women.. 85% of the time for me.. Hey I like em young and my friends are all envious that I can still do it. Some things aren't meant to be seen.. rather felt.
