Why worry about what is or isn't nerdy? Just do what you enjoy.

If you hide your interests because you worry that they aren't cool, you'll never make friends with the people who share those interests with you. Better to be upfront about who you are so that you can attract people who you'll actually get along with.

before anybody spends money on the ps3 they should wait to see if blue ray official wins the next gen format war, current hd-dvd are outselling blue ray movies 5-to-1. If the blue ray doesnt become the next standard the system will fail plain an simple. Its the same scenario playstation pulled a couple of years ago with the ps2, where they took a gamble by making the ps2 dvd compatible hoping that it would become the standard. They got lucky!:banana:

360 is less expensive than a PS3..and Gears of War owns any PS3 game this year

I'm definitely getting a PS3 (doubt it'll be at launch though. i'm not even gonna try and stress myself out looking for one). Most powerful system, hdd & blu-ray comes standard, free online gaming, great launch lineup, what's not too like? And spending 500 for one isn't gonna leave me broke and destitute

Xbox 360 has better exclusives. PS3 has Metal Gear solid 4 and Virtua Fighter 5, but ya know those games will probably be ported to 360 anyways.

I heard that the bundles they have at Costco, have a lifetime guarantee, so if I don't get the 360 bundle, I'll probably wait for the PS3 one.

I'm buying the 360 next week when Pro Evolution Soccer 6 comes out. I'll buy NBA 2k7 too.
The PS3 is too expensive, and both the blue ray recorder and the blue ray discs are really expensive too, so the potential advantage of having pirate games with the PS3 seems rather difficult now.
