Re: Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?
Its exciting, just overpowering everybody, then just jumping so super high looking down into the rim and smashes it with the fury of an angry god, same goes for Blake Griffin. Lebron James aswell, but he does it more from the perimeter, of the dribble then explodes by and overpowers anybody, then takesoff that bionic left leg and he goes up so high, cocks the ball way back and then smashes it down so hard like the rim just killed his family, anybody who dares stand in the way gets posterised, which brings extra excitement.
There is a reason Dwight, Blake and Lebron lead most often in dunks made.
If thats the case im going for dominique and SHAQ.

He specifies IN THE LEAGUE. IN THE NBA. He's referring to current players RIGHT NOW obviously.
Re: Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?
I'm sure it's been said, but to me it's Rose and Griffin.
Re: Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?
derrick rose is the more exciting dunker to me. Here are some from his repitaur of dunks that some of you guys may have never seen or remembered. not mentioning his most popular ones, dragic, elevator dunk, 1 arm jesus in atlanda, skills challenge. joel anthony.

Re: Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?
Rose, then Griffin, then Wade, though I can't stand him.
[I was a big Raptors Vince Carter fan and he wasn't racking up nasty dunks nearly as often. More creative dunker? Yes. Better dunk contest dunker? Yes. Better leaper? Yes. Better in game, contact dunker? No. I mean Griffin already has a 25 minute highlight film of Clippers plays only already and he was a ROOKIE/QUOTE]
:facepalm , you OBVIOUSLY WERE NOT a Big raptors Vince carter fan.
Re: Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?
With all due respect... LEARN TO READ. He's asking for the most exciting dunker in the NBA. Not who is most exciting dunker in NBA history. BTW Vince Carter during all star weekend said Griffin is no question a better, more consistent in game dunker than he was, but he would pick himself to win in a dunk contest (obvious reasons).

Hey, moron. Learn to read? Let's go over the thread title: "Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?"
My argument is that Vince Carter is still in the NBA... therefore, because Vince Carter > Blake Griffin in terms of exciting in-game dunks (moreover, Vince > anyone else in the NBA) he is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA. Granted, the vast majority of those exciting in-game dunks didn't come in the 2010-2011 season like Blake Griffin's have.
If you want to debate that Blake Griffin is the more exciting in-game dunker, then go for it--it's clearly a matter of opinion. But don't end up questioning my literacy; you look like a tool. Ironic how this discussion occurred when you failed to read my initial post correctly.
Re: Who is the most exciting in-game dunker in the NBA?
westbrook. that dunk on battier was prob the poster of the year (by someone other than griffin :lol )
but of course nobody knows that because rose gets all the hype.

I think your problem goes much deeper than ability to read and goes to simple comprehension problems. Most exciting current dunker doesn't mean to pick a player who was the top dunker nearly a decade ago. In the OP it's implied that he means RIGHT NOW. That would be like me picking Jason Richardson.... and explaining that in 03 or w/e he was the best dunker.
I can care less about your personal preferences, just don't be a douchebag and pick a player who rarely dunks anymore.

So you don't take Vince Carter's own word seriously when he called Blake a better, nastier in game dunker than himself? Vince was no doubt the superior dunker. Thing is..... his most famous dunks were his Fred Weis dunk in the Olympics and his dunks in the dunk contest.
Sure he was incredible and was a human highlight reel. He wasn't in the top 3 every single night pretty much like Blake was though. I understand now media is much easier to access but I watched the Raptors a lot dude. I loved the squad of Alvin Williams, Junkyard Dog, Charles Oakley, VC, Mo Peterson, Antonio Davis and those guys. I even watched when T-Mac was on there.
