Dwight Howard says he'd be OK with coming to Chicago
Chicago Tribune:
Approached Friday night in New Orleans after a 26-point loss to the Hornets, Howard shared his thoughts on a long-shot trade to the Bulls.
“If I could play with Derrick right now and God wanted that to happen, it will happen,” Howard told the Tribune. “It has nothing to do with me not wanting to play with Derrick Rose. I love him. That’s my brother.”

Lies.
Dwight is a good christian man, who agrees with God. and if Michael Jordan wants him to be a bull. He'll be a bull.
or Otis Smith will be a dumbass.

Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
Well the Heat game did show Noah is a very nice asset to be traded again
:oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
I don't see it happening. Somebody pointed out that Rose and Dwight are both under Adidas; there's no way in hell Dwight would go to the same market as Rose.

Chicago incarnation of crossover.

Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
There is a better chance Amare comes to Chicago than Dwight.
-
Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
Noah and Taj Gibson and the Bobcats draft pick is a pretty damn good deal.
-
Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
But Rose is not the same playmaker like CP3, Deron, Kidd and Nash, he is not going to get the ball very often.

For Chicago.

It's probably the second best deal next to if the Lakers decided to give up Bynum and Gasol.

Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
Bulls trade:
Noah
Asik
Boozer
Deng
Brewer
Lucas
Bobcats first rounder
Magic trade:
Howard
Duhon
Hedo
Orton
Magic get a good pick, something every team not named Nets can't offer. Get veterans in Boozer and Deng. Young talent in Lucas and Asik. Reliable player in Brewer and player with potential upside in Noah. Magic owner already has said on record he isn't looking to acquire just straight young players. He wants established talents and picks. Bulls might have the best offer if they allow themselves to out of all the other teams. I would say Warriors but I doubt Dwight will agree to an extension and they would be stupid to trade Ellis or Curry for a player for two months.

Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
My source has told me Dwight will not be traded this season and will become a FA.

Bulls receive the Bobcats' 2012 first-round pick (top 14 protected in 2012, top 12 protected in 2013, top 10 protected in 2014, top 8 protected in 2015, unprotected in 2016)
Crap pick.
-
Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
Bulls go after Gerald Wallace and a shooting guard in the off-season, find Dwight a backup and end up with
Dwight/Backup
Hedo/Gibson
Gerald Wallace/Korver
RIP/JR Smith
Rose/Watson
Dwight and Hedo's production will be > than Noah and Boozer's production this year. If they pick up Wallace it'll offset the lost of Deng more than any other realistic replacement would. A shooting guard like JR that can come off the bench and generate his own offense will be greatly used.
Still potential to be best defensive team in the league with Wallace and Dwight. Rose finally gets his post presence that the Bulls have been searching for since KG was still in Minnesota.

Yea that's pretty bad. Still make out with probably 2 top 15 picks in 2014, better than say a team like the Lakers or Celtics would be able to offer in terms of good picks.

Chicago might as well just give Orlando their 6 championships from the 90s, and throw in half of the White Sox and the Bears as a bonus.
-
Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
Taj is a starter in Orlando and an amazing defensive player and Noah is versatile as hell and can play in any coaching scheme. Mind you Noah play ever play like its the game winning. I would rather keep the two than scoop up Howard. Chemistry>All Stars. The Bulls vibe and feed off of each other. Dwight gets whiny and gives up to easily.

You are insane! that is a horrible trade.

Re: Dwight Howard says he'd be OK with coming to Chicago
Bump for the fun of pondering D-Rose and Dwight on the same team
-
Re: Dwight Howard says he'd be OK with coming to Chicago
Noah, Brewer, Butler. Bobcats pick and our next 5 first round picks lol
For Dwight.
Call Bogans up to replace Brewer. I also wouldn't mind including Taj in the deal instead of Brewer, or even Asik...but Magic have Anderson and Big Baby I don't think they need a log jam at PF.
Rose/Watson/Lucas
RIP/Korver/Bogans
Deng/Korver
Boozer/Taj/Scal
Dwight/Asik

:wtf:
What kinda of bullshit logic is this. Have 2 stars never do anything or Have a stacked team that could win a championship advertise the Adidas brand.
-
Re: My source has informed me Dwight is okay with coming to Chicago
D12 has already said that Adidas is a non-factor in any trade deal. Won't be a problem if GarPax really wanted to trade for Dwight.
-
Re: Dwight Howard says he'd be OK with coming to Chicago
Noah fits in perfectly with Chicago's style of play. Rebound run the court, Dwight would want to many touches; how would he get them?
With the addition of Hamilton Rose's attempts have already dropped a lot.

I get the big money politics that have a chance of being in play here but at the end of the day that shit doesn't really matter to the owners.
They could trade him to Bucks for 2 months if its the best deal on the table regardless of what he or his sponsors want.
Also, I really don't want Howard in Chicago. Dude doesn't have a winner mentality if you ask me.
He is the undisputed best center and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
He may not be the best 1st option in the league, but he would be a great 2nd option on the Bulls and the defensive anchor of the best defensive team in the league.
Noah+Taj+Charlotte's pick is all I would give up. We would be depleted at the 4 position, but we can always sign someone decent in the offseason.
Rose+Howard+Deng >>>> anyone in the league.

I'd easily trade Deng for Hedo in a deal for Dwight. Because Next year is the last year of the Hedo's deal. trade bait. Be like wussup Indiana, you need to extend Collison, Hibbert, and Paul George soon? Just give us Granger and you got a deal. Plus that would enable us to resign Asik.
-
Re: Dwight Howard says he'd be OK with coming to Chicago
I love the Bulls squad but outside of Rose anyone should be tradeable. It's Dwight Howard for **** sake. If you have a chance at getting him you go for it!

i dont think you really have a say as a magics fan...your star player is wanting to leave your team not the other way around.
