Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
The Warriors will probably only end up winning 43 games this year, let's look at their upcoming schedule.
@ Philadelphia L
They will lose this game because the Warriors are on a losing streak and are desperate to get home. In their minds, they think that they have it easy from here so they will coast it
vs Toronto L
They will lose against the Raptors partly because the Raptors have a new look with Gay, and ultimately the Warriors are never able to beat Rudy Gay. Him single handedly is a Warriors killer and that is a fact. He is not afraid of them one bit and loves to beat up on us.
Vs Kings L
DeMarcus Cousins owns us. Plain and simple. Even when we had Bogut, Cousins gets whatever he wants against us and abuses us. Plus, the Kings shoot threes like the Rockets whenever they play against us. Guys like Brooks and Thompson on Sac come alive and seem to have good games. They tend to circle the games on their calendar when they play us and will come out ahead.
vs Houston L
I shouldn't have to explain this one. It's so blatantly obvious that Harden, Asik, and the Rockets own the Warriors. They gave up 23 threes against them and even after Bogut's twitter threat, they still got it handed to them. Things have not changed and that will repeat.
vs Bucks L
We got it handed to us facing the Bucks last game. But I think Curry is owned by Monta. Jennings and Ellis have their way and will hand us a disheartening L.
vs New York L
We cannot contain Carmelo, Smith, Or Tyson. Even when Curry scored 54, we still lost. He won't score 54 again. Chandler actually outperformed Curry with his 22 points and 28 rebounds.
vs Detroit W
This will be another game where the Warriors sort of float around and then make a run in the 4th to close the gap
vs Bulls L
We simply don't have what it takes to contain Noah. He has our number. And guys like Nate Robinson go off against us, just like last game.
@ Houston L
same reason as before
vs New Orleans W
a tough one but we will pull through
@ Spurs L
don't have to write why, road game or not,but it is a road game nonetheless
vs Washington W
well this one we will blow them out, cuz gotta get hot at some point
vs Lakers L
Kobe will not miss the playoffs. He is not afraid and gsw is shook.
vs Kings L
Doesn't matter if we're at home. The Warriors problem against the Kings and Cousins wont go away. That's why they lose every game to the Magic.
@ Portland W
I think portland will be done by this point so we win by 10
vs New Orleans W
a 10 point win
@ Suns W
Well, we're on a roll and manage to win by 12
vs Utah W
At some point the Warriors will win a tough game, this will be the one and they will be hot for once
vs Minnesota W
With Love or not, the Warriors have their back against the walls and have to win this one
vs OKC L
It will be a blowout but Mark Jackson will say he never promised that we would be undefeated
@ Lakers L
This is going to be a grind out game for both teams. Warriors will show spry but Kobe the mamba will ultimately prevail and hit a key shot to seal the deal
vs Spurs L
The Spurs have pride and will be in LO LOSS mode. The Warriors we're already stunned from the Lakers comeback the night before.
@ Portland W
The Warriors will play their hearts out tonight. Unfortunately Houston and LA won and they didn't own the tie breaker

this. Even if lakers is 4 losses away from golden state warriors, Golden state has only 7 road games left.
Lakers still have 12 road games.
Golden state is safe in 6th position, and will get an excellent matchup in clippers ...

Re: Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
Have some faith in your team

Glass half-empty or not, those are fair analyses.

What kind of Warriors fan are you? :wtf:

Re: Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
I didn't read all of it but I blame this on the chronic bad luck this warriors franchise has had since ever.

Yes but look at my analysis and the schedule. Do we play good against Houston or sac? Do u think the bulls will be easy with Noah? Do u think mamba is not hungry. And this 43 wins is actually optimistic. We don't have the size to beat the teams we play. Read my analysis. And whatever size we have, we can't count on it. For example: Bogut

I think your analysis is terrible, and believe we are the favorite to win the next 4 games against a struggling 76ers squad, then at home against Toronto, Sacramento, and Houston.

Okay but here me out: what about Toronto? Phill is a toss up but we only beat Toronto by a point and now they have gay. When have we ever beat Rudy gay?
What bout sac? Have we beat them this year? Can we contain cousins? No
And u r crazy of u think Houston don't own us

The Warriors will be the 8th seed. He's right look at their record vs Houston's & the Lakers'...
And both Houston & the Lakers haven't loss to GS all year and they play both teams 2 more times.

If a fan is trashing your team all the time
and praising another then you're a fan but it's not.
It is obviously clear to anybody with a brain cell
that either you're a troll or a Laker Fan saying
he's a warrior fan to trash them and prop up lakers cz you're always trashing
gs and praising lal.
Clearly not a warriors fan

You can never predict how any team will play in 2 weeks time. If they are hot.. they could get injuries or cool off.. if they are sucking.. they could get into a groove.
-
Re: Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
Tangible proof is when the number of wins are greater than the number of losses. An idiot with an Eminem icon probably wouldn't understand this concept so I'll let it pass. :durantunimpressed:

we have learned that the hard way. And we was supposed to save us this season. How can he save us when he can only play 12 games all year? Well, we have learned that Bogut isn't going to save us. We cannot count on him.

Bogut's a former #1 pick as a big man who is not Tim Duncan.
So he's either a scrub (Kwame), mediocre (bargnani), or injured (Yao Ming and Oden).
He's probably the last two.
-
Re: Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
Brandon Rush's goal this year was to start at small forward. He probably would have eventually because he is the more experienced and competent player than Harrison Barnes. He is a lights out 3 point shooter, he can drive the basketball in the paint, and can play really good defense.
I felt Rush was the backbone to the team. Going down really costed them. The Warriors could have been 36-23 instead of 33-26 this year, just by having Rush.
The Warriors will go 43 wins if they all stay healthy. They simply cannot hang
with the Kings, Lakers, or Rockets. They have not beat them all year and won't beat them because they get beat up on transition and size.
Sadly, even with the Lakers losing their 2 biggest guys Jordan Hill and Pau Gasol, they are going to catch us and pass us up because they have the more favorable schedule. It really is disheartening because The warriors were the feel good story of the year and the Lakers were the biggest disappointment of the year. And then when they actually finish better than us, it will be really heartbreaking and embarrassing.
Harrison Barnes is a weakness for the Warriors. He does good sometimes
and shows flashes of being good, but more often that not he is very passive
and doesn't have much of an impact on the floor.
He doesn't seem to have a great shot either. More often that not, his jumper
is not going in.
The Warriors need someone at the small forward who can create their own
shot, especially when the shot clock is winding down. Rudy Gay, Andre
Iguadola, Nick Batum, or even a Stephen Jackson would have been a
better fit. Someone who can dominate the ball once in a while and put
in a basket.
I didn't expect them to get streaky like this. Elite teams do
not do this. If Curry was really an elite player, the Warriors would
be an elite team. A good example is Chris Paul. Without Paul, the
Clippers are not that good, but with Paul the Clippers are elite. The
Warriors are not elite even with Curry.
They need help. Bogut wasn't much help this year. Missed all of last year,
had all of this year to heal and hasn't played.
They need Biedrins's contract to expire. Sad to see him go, but Biedrins
salary makes it hard to sign anyone else because he takes up the
cap space.
Good teams take care of good teams. Sure, the Warriors beat some elite
teams, but more often than not, they seem to be playing from behind
against good teams and cannot stop turning the ball over.

Re: Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
Ok I was unfazed by the losses before but now its becoming a bit of a problem, I heard one of the GSW's radio guys same something like teams have stopped getting into shooting contests with them and are now attacking the Warriors off the dribble to the rim more often which I have noticed is true.
He also outlined that the Warriors have in there starting line up three below average defenders in Curry, Klay & Lee which means if you attack them in the paint or of the bounce and not take jumpshots you can have great success. At the start of the year teams would more often get into shootouts with the Warriors and loss badly but they have slowly began to figure them out.

They're not explanations. They're predictions.
And the proof you offer isn't tangible because these events haven't happened yet.
You made a bunch of wild guesses. These are neither tangible nor proof.
I hold this thread up as tangible proof that you are batshit crazy.

Re: Tangible Proof that the Lakers will finish ahead of Warriors
I stopped reading at them losing in Philly. Not going to happen.
Warriors will make the playoffs. If any team is questionable it's the Jazz. Look at their schedule. Look at their next 10 games. Lakers will take their spot.
