Andrew Bynum
http://nypost.com/2014/07/18/connection-to-phil-could-lead-bynum-to-knicks-after-year-off/
I remembered reading about how Bynum might be doing this knee procedure that might rejuvinate his knees. Has anyone heard anything about whether or not Bynum actually had the procedure done or if he's going to attempt a comeback?
Dude just turned 27 and has so much talent and potential.

He's been legit gone from the NBA for one single year. The other years he's attempted comebacks but failed.

talent and potential went out the window as soon as he was traded from LA
he will never be the same. At best he'd give you a solid 10-15 minutes off the bench, and that's if he works the entire regular season to get into top shape for the Playoffs on a contender. His size and strength would always make him a decent rim protector and a rebounder and he has the skillset to produce on offense, but he simply cannot play a full season. Running up and down the court alone seems to be difficult for him.
He isn't coming back because his knees are DONE.

Re: Andrew Bynum
He actually looked pretty good I'm the games he played for us last year. I remember several games, he showed amazing foot work in the paint, never giving up. Of course, a lot of stuff was going on behind the scenes. I actually thought he would bond with fellow Jersey boy Kyrie but I was wrong.

Re: Andrew Bynum
Bradon Roy had the same procedure done before he came to the Wolves:sleeping . The guy is done.

Re: Andrew Bynum
The league lost a great center rivalry when Bynum's and Oden's knees failed them.

Re: Andrew Bynum
Had one good year. And that was a lockout season.

Re: Andrew Bynum
I cant see him making a successful comeback. Those knees have to be completely shot from carrying kobe.

You probably never saw young Bynum ball. When he was just starting to play good before his first knee injury, he was such an exciting player. And to top it off, the Lakers hired Kareem to personally mentor him throughout the season. All of us Lakers fans thought he was gonna be our next great big man, but injuries really did him in. When he would come back from injury, he'd look nice but he got injured at least once a season. In the playoffs, he didn't really look too great in our championship run, but he held his own in 2012. Too bad that Indiana didn't play him more, he was good in the two games he played...I forgot what happened.
There's no coming back for him now, though. What's he gonna do, come off the bench for 10-15 mins? He wants to start, and I don't think anyone is gonna offer him a starting position anymore.

Re: Andrew Bynum
He's done. Wasted talent.

What a teenage thing to say.
Late 2007? Yes I as around.
13/10 on 63% shooting.
Nothing special. Laker was were just desperate for something positive.
