Lebron James vs Kobe Bryant, in the season, in MVP talk, more
2 on 2 Game. Magic Johnson & Michael Jordan vs Lebron James & Kobe Bryant. Who will win?:pimp:

Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
Possibly the greatest passer ever teamed up with possibly the greatest scorer ever. There is no discussion here, MJ and MJ would win.
-
Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
it would be a scoring fest because neither team could defend the other. i'll go with the old guys by a bucket because they're better rebounders and mj is the most likely guy to come up with a key steal or block. give both pairs 3 average teammates to round out the teams and i give it to the old timers hands down because they are two of the greatest leaders and team players in history.

Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
2 on 2 game you don't a point guard. You need someone that can drive to the basket and shoot the J's. I think Kobe and LeBron would win. Because of their speed and driving ability. You don't need the "see the court" guard. Is street basketball. Don't get me wrong, I still think MJ and MJ are better Kobe and King James, in an NBA level of course.

How old are you? Mj would do a better job on kobe then kobe would on mj, kobe might hit the shot ayway but it would be a tougher shot then the one mj would get. Magic would tear lebrons head off simple would back him down in the post and punish him like a *****.
-
Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
Magic Johnson would be playmaking left right and center. Not that Jordan needs it anyways; he creates his own shots with ease. Magic would be rebounding well, too. Add Jordan's stifling defense and it's certain that they would win.

How strong you think LeBron is? Besides you're avting like LeBron is 6ft, he is 6-8 and Johnson is 6-9. I think LeBron is stronger. MJ and Kobe. See you don't know what you're talking about. who's going to block Kobe when he goes to the basket? He can do that all night long baby. MJ too. They're not going to take the though shot like you're saying. They can't hold each other. LeBron and Magic. I've already explained that. Magic can't back down LeBron just like that. He can pass but that's not necessary in a 2 on 2 game.

magic could get by james at will and post him up. magic abused dennis rodman who could guard 2s, 3s, and 4s better than lebron. magic was a very difficult cover when he set his mind to scoring. on the other hand, it's not like magic would have a hope in hell of covering lebron either.

What you're that ignorant that you think he's not going to be a legend, not just a top 50 player. You guys are talking NBA level here, passing and defense doesn't play a great role. Besides Jordan can't hold Kobe and Kobe can't hold Jordan. Magic can pass the ball and that's it. Is not like he has a height advantage over James. Is just one inch. Legends superstar all-star whatever it's all about putting the ball in the whole. MJ and Kobe cancel out. Magic and LeBorn, LeBron wins.
-
Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
I'd pick Magic and Mike to win. However, this is not nearly the landslide some of you guys are making it out to be. In a game of 32 I'd guess final score would be along the line of 32-28.
LeBron is 6'10" 255 lbs and is still one of the fastest/quickest players in the NBA. Magic is not going to easily back him down nor is he going to easily beat him off the dribble; regularly anyway.
Mike and Kobe will essentially cancel each other out.

Jordan would flash to the ball much better then kobe would, I like how you are still avoiding my question of asking you how old your are, probably becuase you have never seen jordan or magic play. Magic would do a better job on obe probably then he would on bron so I would have jordan check lebron and I guarantee he would force him to take the outside shot more often then not. Magics length would bother kobes shot a little bit. It wouldnt be a wash but Magics team would clearly win. Notice me calling it magics team and not jordans since I am a laker fan and actually know abotu his game.

If James gives some space to Magic and force him to take the shot, Magic is in trouble. He was an average shooter. Rodman is not LeBron, LeBron is stronger. How do you think he finishes though plays and goes into the paint with the big guys. Again Magic can't post LeBron just like that. I bet you LeBron would dunk it on Magic all day too. That would be really embarassing.
LeBron is stronger and faster than Magic. Plus in streetball there are no tick-tack fouls. LeBron can take the hard hits. Magic would probably go flying to L.A with James' toughness.

I don't need to know who's fan you are. Obviously you're still thinking about an NBA arena. I've seen Magic and Jordan play a lot. I like how that "spectacular" phrase by Matt Albert got famous. When Jordan did the Lakers hard. Nobody didn't try to jump and block Jordan. Going back to the game, I don't see how Magic would do a better job on Kobe. He's too slow and if he backs of Kobe can knock down the jumper. I know Jordan was a good defender but Kobe is too fast for him. Just like Kobe is too slwo for Jordan. If Magic is too close to Kobe he can drive by him and if Jordan is standing on the way, dunk on him.
-
Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
Considering that Magic is now 47 years old and Jordan is 43 years old.....
I'd have to go with Kobe/LeBronze.

What the hell are you talking about?
Magic would kill him on the boards. When Magic wants to score he can score. Lebron wouldn't be able to hold him and and Magic would hold Lebron. Magic has more post moves than Lebron so Magic could mix it up more.
Kobe and Jordan yes they would go back and forth, but MJ would get that key block or steal that would in turn give him the edge.

You wish MJ would be Mr. Clutch, this is not the NBA we're talking about here where the key block, turnover, steal, or buzzer beater wins the game.
LeBron would dominate Magic on the boards, he gots more hops. "When Magic wants to score he can score", what do you think when LeBron wants to score he doesn't score or what. Stop overrating Magic.

wow, i'm not sure you know what you're talking about. dennis rodman defended, with success, Shaq, Mourning, Karl Malone. lebron has defended bigs such as... tayshawn prince. um.. dirk. anyone else? sure he's bigger, but that doesn't mean he's as strong a defender. dennis was excellent at getting low and holding his ground. lebron is bigger in the upper body. so was anthony mason, but that didn't mean he could get low and hold position against big centers the way the worm did.
backing off of magic never worked. check out his shooting percentage of 52 for his career. you think no one ever thought, "hey! i know! let's back off and make him a jump shooter!" he'd just dribble right up to you, turn his shoulder and start backing down. if you bodied him, he'd spin off and get into the lane. the only way to stop him was with a trap. now you're talking about a game with no backline defenders to help. again, no way he stops lebron on the other end, but there's a reason people argue for magic as a goat candidate, and it's not just his ability to run a fastbreak.

And the same thing I said to Rockets(T-mac) I will say to you, vice versa. Lebron James will not dominate Magic Johnson on the boards. "More hops"? That's your reason? Then how come Desmond Mason doesn't average 13RPG?
There's more to rebounding than "hops". And Magic has leaping ability as well, and was more skilled at the actual art of rebounding. It's more than just jumping and grabbing the ball - that's just the simple way of looking at it. You think Magic didn't have to compete with taller players and good leaping players for rebounds in the 80's?
Trust me, he can compete on the boards with Lebron.

Well magics length would bother kobe more then it would bother lebron when he drives on him. Plus the fact that magic will definitely be able to do a half decent job of kobe in the post means you are atleast having some sort of defensive impact, Jordan would do a good job on lebron forcing him to take the outside shot, and we all know how that story goes. Lebron cant guard anyone and if people think lebron can bully magic you are forgetting just how big magic was, just because he was more finesse doesnt mean he couldnt bang if he wanted. Also to the thread starter why are you avoiding the simple question of telling us how old you are? Because you do sound about 15 years old, which would mean you would naturally devalue Magics worth because you havent seen enough of him.

Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
Magic Johnson & Michael Jordan
-
Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
Is this a trick question. The team with the big guy who ccan pass and the shooting guard who can score good will win.

Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
better question: Kobe/Lebron vs. MJ/Magic with a bleeding head wound
I think MJ/Magic would win 100-0

one 32 game can win it anybody.

in a 3 game series probably mj-mj would win in 5.

Again, you don't need muscle to rebound well, it just helps. As I said, rebounding is a skill, not purely based on physique. And for Christ's sake read what I said. I never said Magic and Jordan would win with ease and dominate them like you claim I said - stop putting words into my mouth. I know it will be close and I know it would be a challenge. I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt simply because of their legendary status. I thought it through and used logical information.
What you're claiming I said, I never said. Stop making stuff up.

Re: Magic/Jordan VS Lebron/Kobe. Who will win?
It'd be closer than people think. Just imagine someone trying to cover LeBron 1on1. Covering Kobe is a bit easier because he's a jumpshooter. But LeBron is a human bulldozer.

No, it wouldn't.
Just imagine someone trying to cover LeBron 1 on 1.
It's not hard, just stand by the basket and LET him shoot. Dare him to hit jumpers. LeBron gets shut down in 1 v 1 situations in games ALL THE TIME.
Covering Kobe is a bit easier because he's a jumpshooter.
Kobe is much more difficult to cover than LeBron, **** are you smoking? He can drive AND shoot. But Kobe is completely negated by Michael Jordan ... and Magic would have his way with LeBronze.

I know, shoots like one too.
Jordan would sky over both their asses, catching sick alleys from the Magic man.

Jordan def Kobe easily, Magic def Lebron easily, then you know the answer.
