Ideally, you'd want a GM who would jump at the idea of acquiring the best player in the game. Unforunately here in Chicago, our fool of a GM is too concernced with keeping his "core" and "class guys or veterans." The Boston deal just guaranteed the Bulls no chance at winning the East next year, and all it will take is one little move from Cleveland to guarantee that the Bulls go no further than the 2nd round for the next 10 years.

I would hope that Cleveland or another contender from the East would make a move just to open our GM's eyes. Maybe then the fool will understand that Kobe needs to be a Bull.

If that's the case, then John Paxson needs to get slapped. Unless Chicago acquires a bonafide SUPERSTAR (ala Kobe Bean Bryant).....they're going NOWHERE in the Eastern Conference.
