Gaining PP doesn't improve you keepers and may be untradeable to owners later. For that top 10 upgrade down the line. Overall your team vastly improves with two mutlicat players.

This is what I think as well. I still have Amare, Big Al, Smoove and DWill as keepers, and since I only have 4, I need to move one. This Pierce deal helps me win this season.
