The amazing thing about it is that if another company decided to release a customizable/mod-friendly football/basketball, etc. game like PES/Winning Eleven for the PC it would sell very well. It shouldn't take a lot to have better gameplay than EA's halfass work. Madden for the consoles on single player must be unplayable because it takes A LOT of modding to make it work well on the PC, and the consoles don't have that advantage.

EA Sports = the ESPN of video games. Substandard.
