Probably. I'd imagine that perhaps unlike the two original Diablo's where they only had one expansion each (and Hellfire wasn't playable online), they might come out with a few expansions for this game. We'll see.
Like you said, though, I'm glad they didn't make it into an MMORPG or stray from the battle system. I cannot wait for this game. I've waited years for it to be announced and it's finally coming.
