Re: 1994 NBA Draft Class ( Player Rankings)
I was a huge Grant Hill fan in his prime. The best crossover I've ever seen for a guy around 6'8", incredible passing/playmaking skills and great athleticism.
He was his teams point forward but also he carried the scoring load. He was also maybe the best rebounding small forward since Larry Bird.
In Grant's second season he averaged 20 points, almost 10 rebounds(9.8) and 7 assists. The next year he averaged more than 21 ppg, 9 rebounds and over 7 assists per game. Then in 1999-2000(his last season before all the injuries) he averaged 26, 7 and 5.
It's amazing that after all of the injuries he was an all-star again in 2004-2005 and averaged 20, 5 and 3 on 51% shooting.
It's too bad he never got to really play with prime T-Mac. If not for the injuries I have no doubt Grant would have been a top 5 small forward of all-time.
