The problem is that Dwight doesn't have a good touch, even from that close, he dribbles because he wants to dunk it because he isn't a good finisher otherwise.
He has the ability to be great, his passing is always going to limit him though if he doesn't improve on that also. He is really slow making passes and decisions in the post.
If he ever learns how to actually play in the post rather than just being a freak of an athlete, he will be unstoppable but I have seen nothing to really indicate that he will, he still has the same offensive game he had as a rookie which is sad as a Magic fan. He has improved defensively a lot but on the offensive end he really hasn't.
