"Go thy way, and sin no more." You're probably not going to get a severe punishment, and the danger is that you won't take the situation seriously after that. A dumb teenage kid that burns a birdhouse isn't going to do any real time and your life should not be derailed for such a minor offense, but for God's sake, grow a brain.
