Default 2010-11 Hawks preseason schedule

The Atlanta Hawks announced today their seven-game
2010 preseason schedule, highlighted by a nationally-televised game
against the Miami Heat on October 21 at 8 p.m. That home contest, one
of three to be played at Philips Arena, will be televised on ESPN.

Atlanta will open exhibition play under new coach Larry Drew on
Thursday, October 7 against the Memphis Grizzlies, before leaving town
for three consecutive road games - beginning with back-to-back contests
at Detroit (October 11) and Washington (October 12), and finishing up
with an October 16 game against New Orleans on the campus of East
Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN.

Before the October 21 game against the Heat, the Hawks will meet another
division foe, the Orlando Magic, on October 18 at Philips Arena. The
non-televised preseason home games will start at 7 p.m.

Following the ESPN game with Miami, the Hawks conclude the preseason
schedule on October 22 at Charlotte.
