Default Warriors trade talks are heating up. Also, taft still not healthy

"Golden State kept popping up in casual conversations about the trade market, and when told of that this week, Vice President Chris Mullin didn't seem to mind. "That's a compliment," Mullin said. "This time of year, between the draft, preparing for the draft, the dialogue, information, workouts -- that's what you do." San Francisco Chronicle | Discuss in Warriors Forum

"Though the Warriors haven't made a trade since acquiring Baron Davis in February 2005, (Warriors) team officials acknowledged that they have been aggressively making and taking calls this summer after a second straight 34-48 season. Golden State has the ninth overall pick in Wednesday's NBA Draft, but there's no guarantee that will still be the case when the Warriors are put on the clock." San Francisco Chronicle

"Mullin pronounced point guard Baron Davis "totally healthy" based on what he saw from Davis at the team's practice facility Tuesday. According to Mullin, Davis' ankle is fully healed and his offseason conditioning programis right on schedule." San Francisco Chronicle

"Meanwhile, forward Chris Taft said he will not participate in summer league next month, but plans to attend all games and meetings as he continues to recover from back surgery." San Francisco Chronicle
