The Warriors are going to have quite an injury report to show for Wednesday's gutsy 122-117 victory over the Knicks that made for David Lee's successful return to Madison Square Garden, where he played his first five seasons. More importantly, overcoming all of the bumps and bruises represents the fortitude necessary to win road games - something that has been sorely lacking from the Warriors for the better part of a decade. It made Lee's performance (28 points, 10 rebounds) worth it. The power forward's elbow caught Wilson Chandler in the mouth, knocking out two teeth and leaving a gash in Lee's arm. Even with three layers of tape over the wound, blood was finding a way to the surface. San Francisco Chronicle
