Default Mike Miller back any day now (Dec. 20 or so)

Mike Miller, who has not made his debut with the Heat because of a thumb injury, traveled with the team for the first time in the regular season for the Friday-Saturday back-to-back in New York and Washington. ``He's been dying to come with us, so we thought we'd throw him a bone,'' Spoelstra joked. No bones about it, Miller's return seems imminent. Miami Herald

Spoelstra was scheduled to speak with team president Pat Riley on Sunday about the timetable for Miller's return. ``It's close,'' said Spoelstra, who added that he would like Miller to participate in at least one full-scale practice before being activated.
