I won't profess to know what future lies ahead of us, or whats going on in the inner-workings of the NBA, however, never say never... The Lakers "never" should have gotten Wilt, Kareem or Shaq.... stranger things have happened.
So if there are some that are speculating, let them do it. Who cares. Just don't read the posts about it if you dont like it.
