calderon is a passive, safe pg, no risky passes, but not great assists, average defense, good shooter
rubio is a much better passer, much more turnover prone, much better defender, much worse shooter.

You know...in the same way every tall white guy that can shoot a little is comparable to Larry Bird. I don't know about you, but when I first saw Mike Dunleavy at Duke my first thought was "there's the next Larry Bird." He's 6'9" can shoot and does other things marginally well.
