no, it's not true. If it was his dad's idea, they could've moved with him overseas to make and helped to take care of him like brandon jennings parent did. This kid was 17 in a foreign country on his own.. Part of this decision was his own and part of it was the same guys that send jennings overseas. But dude had mad skills in high school. He could've been the 1st pick if he took the traditional route.
