I thought there was never any doubt. I remember this question coming up on draft night (along with back and knee concerns) but it was waived off by most as being minor. Most said that it was just a matter of how much he'd have to pay his Europe team, nothing more and there was never a question of him staying a year. If there was, his stock might have fallen a lot.
