Default Re: Fox News Ask Are Hip-Hop and Rap Music Going Out of Style?

First of all John Gibson is one of the biggest morons on Fox (and that is saying a lot).

Secondly hip-hop is nto going out of style, because it is here to stay.

It cannot continue to dominate the charts like it has since the millenium, but people will continue to put out good hip hop.

A break from the apex of mainstream music will benifit the genre as it excels as an underground art form and not under the glare of big media and the influence of big corporate labels where it currently resides.

The man (aka corporate america) pimped hip hop music and now it is time to toss that ho (hip hop) to the curb because now 'she's an old ho and she dont really look that good no mo' (too short quote). The mainstream has squeezed the life out of hip hop trying to get every penny possible, from catch phrases, to commercials, to movies, cashing in on 'funny jive talking negroes', but now it has been played out and the casual fans need a break because it has lost its appeal.

This is good for hip hop.

Rap is not pop
If you call it that then stop."
