That's rough. Nothing anyone says will be of any consolation, but every time I hear a story like this, even if I don't know the person, it still does touch you and you can imagine the pain.

I wish the best for his family.

One of my co-workers served in Iraq. I only know this because people have told me. I'm not going to start asking questions or get into a debate over whether or not it was right or wrong. But when I see him with his wife and their little girl, I'm just glad he made it back OK.
