Default Danilo Gallinari drops 37 and 11 on the Knicks

Denver Post:

It was just one night one statement-making, magical, memorable night, but, yes, just one night. Still, there was Denver's Danilo Gallinari, out-Meloing Melo.
"It's always great to match up against a superstar," Gallinari said, "because you always want to improve yourself and play against the best to see what is your limit."

The basket-bulldozing Gallinari scored a career-high 37 points in Saturday's double overtime win against the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony, the player and team he was traded for (in part) last February.

"Gallo," Nuggets coach George Karl said, "has a quiet confidence to him."
