1. 43 is not only. No NBA player has played at such an advance age and had a significant role on the team. Robert Parish's appearance with the Bulls was a mere cameo.

2. 25 years of getting banged up every night would have a very negative effects on one's body. Especially for a center. Knee problems galore.

3. Bynum can shape up all he wants, but I think carrying all that extra weight has already done its damage on his lower body.
