1) We would probably get a top5 pick then. Actually it would even be a good thing to happen if they could come back from the injury next season and play like they did before.

Let me tell you something.
Knicks were getting hyped and set huge expectations for this season. Right now they are 8-15 and 2-11 in their last 13.
D'Antoni is still coaching this team.
They got embarrassed at home against the Bobcats,Raptors,Bucks,Suns and many others.
Gallo scored a career high in his return and led the Nuggets to a win. Harrington also played out of his mind.
On top of that we lost two consecutive close games against the Bulls and Celtics,way to get the players even more depressed.
So yeah,it can hardly be any worse than this.
