Default Cincinnati adds Hernol Hall, top Juco big-man

"First-year University of Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin has been widely praised in basketball circles for the recruiting job he has done since he was hired in March, but he may have pulled off his most impressive coup on Sunday when he landed one of the top junior college players in the country. Hernol Hall, a 6-foot-10 post player from Lon Morris (Texas) College, confirmed Sunday that he has committed to UC. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining beginning this season." Cincinnati Enquirer

"Hall averaged 14.3 points and 10.0 rebounds last season for Lon Morris. He shot 61.8 percent from the field and 64.3 percent from the free-throw line. He said he can play either forward or center but actually considers himself more of a forward." Cincinnati Enquirer

"With the addition of Hall, the Bearcats have added depth to a frontline that includes 6-foot-6 forward Cedric McGowan, a starter last season; 6-foot-8 Ron Allen, a reserve on last year's team; 6-foot-10 Abdul Herrera, who did not play last year because he was ruled academically ineligible; and incoming junior college transfers John Williamson (6-foot-6) and Marcus Sikes (6-foot-8)."
